Finesse Speech Pathology is a mobile speech pathology practice, travelling to clients’ homes, childcares, kindergartens, schools, and the community. I assess and diagnose toddler, pre-school, and school-aged children who present with a variety of communication difficulties including:

• Articulation/speech sounds: saying the sounds in words, so that others can understand what is being said

• Fluency: the smoothness with which sounds, syllables, words, and phrases are joined together during speech

• Language:

  • Expressive: using words, sentences, gestures, and writing to convey a message

  • Receptive: understanding words and language

• Literacy: reading, understanding what is read, and written communication

• Social communication/pragmatics: the ways in which language is used in different social settings
